No, there is not a positive (+) and negative (-) on the ends of the Load Resistor Kit for LED Turn Signals # DI34ZR. It does not matter which side connects to the positive and which to the ground.
I have included a couple wiring diagrams you can check out to help with installation. view full answer...
The Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning part # RR32133 can be attached one of two ways. The first way would be to attach inside the channels on a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack. The second way would be to attach inside the channels on a set of crossbars with top channels. If you have flush crossbars with top channels, then you could use part # RR32123 or part # RR32127 but those are your only options.
The Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning will not mount direct to a cargo basket but so long as your... view full answer...
I wish that would work but Powered Modules like the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT you are installing need to get power directly from the battery using the included fuse to protect the circuit.
Adding this connector onto an existing circuit could cause it to not receiver adequate power which can cause the connector to stop working, or damage to the module which would now not be covered under warranty due to improper install.
Since going underneath the... view full answer...
I totally understand your concern but the Tow Ready Interchangeable Hitch Ball Set # 63803 is totally safe to use and would not come disconnected when either towing or not towing.
I attached a review video for this for more info as well. view full answer...
We do have the Curt trailer hitch for the 2012 Range Rover Evoque, # C13128. There is no drilling required for installation but the exhaust will need to be temporarily lowered for installation and there is some minor fascia and heat shield trimming required. I have included a link to the installation instructions so you can see a little more detail on the trimming that is needed.
There are also some lovely pictures in the hitch instructions that show the finished result of the installation.... view full answer...
No need to look for, I linked it for you on the right! We do not have a video on a 2004 Land Rover Discovery but I have linked a video that should help. Since the # ETBC7 is a hardwire install the process for installation will be basically the same on most every vehicle. view full answer...
What you can do is test the wiring of the connector you found with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to see if there is a stoplight switch circuit on the harness that you could use to install the Prodigy Brake controller part # 90885, but we do not have a plug in harness that will allow for brake controller installation on your vehicle. If not, then you will need to wire the controller up to the wiring of your brake switch like the install instructions for the # ETBC7 indicate.

I could see needing to trim the rear fascia for the Land Rover OEM hitch, but the Draw-Tite hitch does not require fascia trimming.
It is designed to fit just below the rear bumper. I imagine the hitch that Land Rover offers is designed to fit and look like the optional factory hitch.
Below I have added a link to the instructions for the Draw-Tite hitch, 75688, so you can read through the instructions. There is also a diagram that shows where the hitch will be positioned in relation to... view full answer...
Yes, a Draw-Tite ball mount will fit in a Curt Class III trailer hitch receiver as long as it has a 2 inch shank. The pin will also fit through the hitch pin hole. All 2 inch trailer hitch accessories will fit all 2 inch trailer hitch receivers and they all use a 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin.
Fascia trimming is required on most 2004 and 2005 Land Rover Freelanders to install the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13450.
The Curt hitch and the Draw-Tite hitch will sit in the same location... view full answer...
Installation of a hitch like the Curt # C13243 on your 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport will not void the warranty. It is not uncommon for a dealer to tell a customer that it will void the warranty. However, consumers are protected under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. This allows aftermarket parts to be installed without warranty issues unless the installation or part caused a problem. The simple act of installing a hitch or other aftermarket part does not void the warranty. view full answer...
Overrun brakes are brakes that use the inertia of the trailer against the vehicle braking to activate trailer brakes. For trailer brakes this is most commonly a style known as surge brakes that use hydraulic pressure. Installing a brake controller in your 2018 Range Rover Sport to operate trailer electric brakes would provide the same purpose. A really popular option is the Brake EVN # TK63VR which to install in your vehicle would only require the # 3035-P which plugs in under the dash. view full answer...
The connector you need to use to install the Tow Ready wiring harness part # 118624 on your 2012 Land Rover Evoque is under the vehicle on the passenger side. Locate the opening to the right of the vehicle muffler. You will reach up into the opening to find the great plug.
Check out the picture I attached to see the plug you are looking for. view full answer...
If it seems like the long M14-2 x 110 bolt used to install the Curt Hitch part # C13128 is too long and is topping out in your vehicle weldnut then most likely the problem is that you have a dirty weldnut that needs to be cleaned. If you check out the help article on cleaning weldnuts you will see ways to help get the threads back to normal so the bolt will thread all the way in.
I also attached an install for this hitch for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Yes the ball mount included with the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches part # C45534 can be flipped over. You will need to remove the ball of course and place it on the other side. This should be torqued down to 250 ft/lbs. when installing it. view full answer...
You're correct that you need a 4-way to 5-way adapter, like part # 47515, to have the proper connection on your 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport to your boat trailer. The adapter plugs into the 4-way you've already installed and has the additional wire that needs to be spliced into the Rover's reverse light circuit using the included quick splice connector. I've linked a video of the install on a different vehicle just so you have the basic idea.
The tricky part is finidng the reverse... view full answer...

The Curt Trailer Hitch # C13128 does require the use of support straps with all non-trailer loads, such as bike racks. If support straps aren't use with this trailer hitch, it will void the product warranty.
You would want to support your bike rack with a support strap like the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap # 18050. view full answer...
